Don't Let The Bastards Grind Ya' Down
Sad to say that Lemme Kilmister, Motorhead founder, bassist,
and vocalist, broke some bones and the upcoming US tour has
been cancelled. Who cares? I care!!! Their latest CD, Inferno,
rocks the world. Having grown up in the Midwest on a diet of Kiss and
Aerosmith, I have a sweet spot for Metal. Not all metal, especially
metal-funk, metal-rap, etc... Anyway, Inferno finds the band just as
fine as they have ever been. I can't say I have a favorite, as the damn
thing is just amazing. There is a little ballad, that will have you raising
your lighter in the air and causing a little sway to overcome you.
I give it an A-, because I am pretty loyal to the original trio, who
fucked it all up for the hair bands and their cheap stylists years ago.
