Right is Right?

Oh, how the mighty are falling. Bill O'Reilly, the biggest wuss on cable gets slapped with a sexual harassment lawsuit this week by a producer from his show "The O'Reilly Factor." Plenty of tawdry details, better left unsaid here, as it totally creeps me out imagining "The Man" masturbating with a vibrator.
Tucker "Really I am a serious conservative" Carlson, gets his ass kicked by Jon Stewart on Crossfire. My hero, Jon Stewart, was expected to come on and promote his book while being his funny self, instead turned the boat around and took aim at Dem pundit Paul Begala and Tucker for being the political hacks that they are. He asked them to stop, because he feels that they are hurting the nation. This is one confrontation that cannot be missed. You have to see the video from the show as it is the sharpest most succinct dressing down of the nattering Washington wusses ever. Here is the link from David Brock's, "Media Matters."

Tucker may think again, but probably not, when continuing to flail when he is so obviously in over his head in a debate.
The boobs at Sinclair Broadcast Group, are experiencing a serious consumer boycott following the announcement of their preemption of local programming on their 62 stations to air more "Swift Boat" type attack documentary. Sinclair's stock price is dropping and investment bankers are letting it be known that this broadcast will hurt the companies long term financials. Their stock has been underperforming for some time and this he-man adventure into politics could cost the company dearly. The factually challenged "Stolen Honor," is the brainchild of right wing shill, Carlton Sherwood. It is more bitter post-Vietnam syndrome babbling from those who have brain washed by the pro-War powers. These folks have never given a minute to thinking that maybe we made a mistake in going into Vietnam. So, they have been carrying this baggage around their whole lives waiting for retribution. Everyone of their arguments has been debunked, yet the mainstream media still gives these fools time. Sinclair is a decidedly Republican company. There is no getting around their end goal: further media deregulation. Now if you have to still wonder whether deregulation is good or bad, this is a prime example of the bad. We own these airwaves, yet the media companies treat the public with such contempt, that you would never know that. Should Kerry win the election, you can be guaranteed that the new FCC board will be talking to Sinclair about their failure of serving the public good. BTW, did you see the "Mean" pictures of V.P. Mark Hyman? Boo, Scary... For more info: http://www.salon.com/news/feature/2004/10/14/sinclair/index.html
The conservative right contines to dissemble and it is about time. Unfortunately, there are those who choose to not take time to consider why this may be, but it just further hardens their bunker mentality. Let's hope their is a moment of lucidity on Election Day. It is your patriotic duty to vote. Do it.
