Hallelujah: Gang of Four reunites for UK dates.
New Musical Express is reporting that one of the UK's greatest agit-prop bands, Gang of Four, are reuniting for 5 dates in the UK. Guitarist, Andy Gill will join the original lineup of the early 80's: Jon King, Dave Allen, and Hugo Burnham. This lineup recorded 3 of the best anti-capitalist, agit-prop lps, of the post-punk 80's. The funk rhythms backing the jagged guitar lines, evoked a dark and desperate England of Margaret Thatcher. Their amazing catalog has inspired many, including Fugazi, Franz Ferdinand, Futureheads, Bloc Party, etc...
