Tomorrow, Throw Bush Out

It is one day until we Americans cast our vote to take back our country. If you have not decided at this point who you are going to vote for, Take A look at this 100 Reasons Not To Vote For Bush, from our friends at The Nation. The Bush Administration has been one of the most disastrous in our nation's history. The middle and working class are in more danger than ever. Millions of jobs lost. Millions of citizens thrown off the health care rolls. The draconian Patriot Act. Public education verging on disaster. A war that was intended to make us more safe, has served to put us into more danger than we faced prior to September 11th, 2001. The rich have only gotten richer, when the tax cuts were supposed to stir economic growth and create jobs. Any jobs that have been created have been at insanely low salary levels, nowhere near levels in years past. Expanded government secrecy, that has left the
government largely unaccountable to their employers: The citizens of the United States. The list goes on and on.
How can we turn our backs on our democracy? How can we tell the world that we approve of this administration's go it alone strategy of world domination? How can we turn our backs on the history of empire and watch our once admired democracy become the object of ridicule worldwide? You may not care about what others think, but millions of your fellow Americans do. We will fight now and continue to fight for the rights that others shed blood and died for. We will fight for our rights as citizens to not be ruled by a hypocritical theocracy. We will not turn back this time. History is on our side. We patriots will fight for the ideals that represent what America is famous for: Freedom. Not your idea of freedom, but true freedom from oppression of the ruling elite. Freedom from Religious discrimnation. Freedom from racial, gender, economic, and political discrimination. We will fight. We will fight for your right to disagree, because that is freedom.
Tomorrow, November 2nd, is your turn to take back America.
Exercise that right.
