We're Gonna Ska, Ska, Ska...
The Slackers are back from tour and are taking over The Hook in Red Hook, Brooklyn on Friday, November 12th. If you have not had the fortune of seeing The Slackers at The Hook, do it. I know I will get a lot of hate for this, but it is so nice to avoid all of the teen hipsters from the Uppers of Manhattan. It is a pain to get to the club, but it is well worth it. The space is really nice and big. You can see the bands from anywhere in the club. The sound is great, the bar staff is exceedingly nice, etc... Can't say enough good about this venue.
