Now You Can Shut Up, Norman.
Good old Norman Coleman, Republican Senator from Minnesota, can now finally shut the fuck up. The Bush Administration today said that they have full confidence in Kofi Annan, the UN Secretary General. Norm, though probably with full backing from the White House, has been shooting his mouth off and lying a lot about Kofi Annan. He's been talking to Fox News and just about anyone else that will put up with him for 5 minutes, saying that Kofi is steeped in the UN Food for Oil Scandal. Well, true to the Republican MO, it is another manufactured scandal. Much of which is being misrepresented in the press, could not have happened without US approval. Oil Sales to neighboring countries outside the purview of the program, were not questioned, any other suspicious activity was well known by the powers that be, the UN Security Council. My guess is that the Bushies were getting a lot of heat from parts unknown and were being threatened unless they shut the Minnesota Mouth the fuck up.
Ah, Norm, we hardly knew ye. Say hello to a lame duck term and we will not be throwing you a going away party in 2008. What a fucking idiot.
