James Poling: Sgt. Bill "Falafel" O'Reilly: A Fair and Balanced Challenge
(via atrios) Ok, Bill O'Reilly, on his Radio Factor program, claims that he has been in firefights in Central and or South America. Did Inside Edition, a tabloid news program, send O'Reilly to dangerous places to cover CIA exploits, or other Black Ops. I somehow doubt his proclamation of his having seen firefights in the southern hemisphere. Maybe it was a real American Patriot who decided that this fool needs to have his ass kicked. O'Reilly gets crazier and crazier everyday.
The Far Right is losing it. They know that they have been duped. They know that Bush doesn't give two shits about them, so they get more and more loony as time goes on. It is strange that the Right are the angriest winners around. The more power they amass, the angrier and crazier they get. Absolute power, corrupts absolutely.
BTW, James Poling has set up Falafel Veterans For Truth, offering a reward to anyone who can corroborate O'Reilly seeing action as a reporter, anchorman, etc... He has not ever been in the military, but he sure talks some good macho bullshit. All proceeds that are raised in excess of the bounty paid, will be donated to Media Matters For America, O'Reilly's favorite bogey man.
