Mel Gibson blows the Freepers minds. Is he a traitor to their crazy cause, or more likely never on board with their treasonous war on democracy?
Apparently the Freepers were convinced that Mel Gibson had drank from the same Jonestown Kool-Aid they had. Mel, on the recent People's Choice Award Show, spoke out against the debacle that we call "The War in Iraq." Freepers went wild with talks of whether Mel knowingly duped them. I read the flurry of posts and laughed my ass off, nearly peeing my pants. For sheer humor, click on the link and read some of the hilarity.
I love the crazies on the right. It must be miserable for them to have such small penises. They still have not gotten over their dodgeball losses in grade school. Never being picked first is so lonely. Sure there is a little debate on whether or not Mel has betrayed conservatism, but bushfamfan, freeper dupe supreme, won't let up. He does not want to be wrong.
I am in pain at the stupidity of the right. Now why did we stop teaching critical thinking in high school?
Here are some of my favorites:(All posts appear on freerepublic.com. My emphasis added.)
From Trippin: "Well, that really is a disappointment. For starters, if he can't see the blatant propaganda in F9/11 he's as blind as a bat. How can you "like" propaganda? It's retarded. This is like a slap in the face for those who campaigned to get people to vote for Passion of the Christ."
From bushfamfan: "Post 3. It's apparently been all over the radio. Hopefully he'll make Google so we can expand on this. He's in a league with Michael Moore. He embraces someone who is a radical, hate-infested, anti-American nutcase. He praises his film and in the process clearly is indicting the President for going to war for oil and unsavory reasons."
From Pyro7480: "I'm not going to use specific terms, but there are definitely some conservatives who are the most concerned with their Machiavellian plans for the world than forwarding the entire agenda that is needed to preserve Western civilization. Let me just say that."
From Soul Seeker: "I supported his efforts with TPOTC because it was the right thing to do. He was making a film about my Savior, faithfully, and being unfairly blasted for those efforts."
"My only problem is admiration of F-9/11. THAT, I do not respect. I respect what he went through to make TPOTC, but F-9/11 is propaganda. If you are anti-war, I can deal with it. You'd be wrong, but you've the right to disagree. I draw the line at propaganda and so should Gibson. I would consider it unfortunate he cannot separate anti-war thoughts with propaganda. Though I'm not surprised. He is a part of Hollywood."
