Microsoft Does The Right Thing For Once.

Microsoft after coming under fire from it's employees and outside groups has decided it is in its best interest to again support the Gay Rights Bill in Washington State. Way to go Steve and Bill. Why could you not do this in the first place? There is nothing that the little preacher man, Ken Hutcherson, could have done. Do you think a national boycott would have dented your business in Windows? Good god men, look at your balance sheets and your installed user base. These rubes would not have switched to Linux, or even to Apple, they are lazy people. They may click send on a form letter on the Family Research Council website, but in the end, they are too lazy to do anything of the sort to switch.
BTW, folks from Antioch Bible Church: Christianity is not about bigotry. Really, it is not. I understand your stance in regards gay marriage and abortion, not that I agree with it, but to support the taking away of basic human rights is damnable. You want to be a witness to the world, then be it. Forcing people to conform to your idea of a perfect world is not honorable, nor is it godly. If God wanted to force people to worship him, there would be no temptation, no sin, only perfection. What he has asked is that you comfort and protect those that are most vulnerable. To feed, clothe, and house the poor. To be a shining light, instead of a wet blanketed, ignorant bigot. To this end, you will not fill your churches, you will only see people turn away. You might think to ask Pastor Hutcherson to check his ego at the door, as well.
