Costco: The Anti-Wal Mart

You want to vote with your dollars? Support Costco. One big corporation that understands good corporate citizenship.
Great wages and benefits, plus great prices. Check out the NY Times article on Costco.
It is ironic that in the age of Enron, Worldcom, Health South, Tyco scandals, that the Wall Street analysts are attacking
Costco for just being a great company to work for. These rubes are attacking them for not growing like a Wal Mart, which
last time I checked is losing Stock Market value, while Costco's stock is doing pretty fucking well. Niche stock? No, investors
are happy with Costco. They like that they are a good corporate citizen. But the unsustainable growth crowd want Cosco to be just like Wal Mart, with their labor violations, low wages, bad healtcare, etc..., and to boot, bad for local business and bad
for suppliers. So what if Wal Mart has a bigger selection, much of it is dead stock, which in turn drives revenue down, which is made up by managers who force workers to work off the clock. Why would I want to invest in such a crooked venture?
Buy Blue and support companies who are good corporate citizens. Buy local when you can, because those revenues stay in the
community, not back to Arkansas. If you can't buy local, spend your dollars at Costco and let them know you appreciate their
good labor policies. These folks need all the encouragement that they can get.
